The Death Penalty: In Support From An Ethical Perspective
[ send me this paper ]
7 pages in length. The death penalty was created for a specific purpose; not only was it imperative for those who took another's life to be punished for such a horrendous assault against mankind, but they were bound to do so by forfeiting their own existence in exchange. When death penalty opponents cite such issues as human rights, unconstitutionality, the alleged absence of impact upon the incidence of homicide or the old adage that 'two wrongs do not make a right,' what they fail to incorporate into their collective opinion is when one kills, he no longer deserves to live.
