Middle-Aged Women: Diet And Exercise
[ send me this paper ]
15 pages in length. Middle-aged women face a significant and often undesirable – enlightenment when their bodies begin to slow down. Hair might not grow as fast or be as shiny, nails become more brittle and the body's overall mechanisms appear to change. Such is the case with the onset of weight gain even if an individual's eating patterns have not changed. Indeed, those who lead a sedentary life stand to experience this change-of-life period that much more drastically, in that the combination of inactivity and a slower metabolism brings about even more weight gain. As a means by which to combat the inevitable, middle-aged women prone to weight gain would do well implement a diet and
exercise regimen that will complement each other in the ultimate goal of weight reduction. The writer discusses an experiment that will take place utilizing twelve women broken up into two groups of six, who attempt to lose weight and decrease body fat via two different methods of diet and exercise.
