administration, the World saw a dramatic improvement
of Russian-U.S. relations, the fear of devastating
nuclear war has lessened but the danger of their
armaments still remain. The end of the Cold War has
generally had a positive impact in that the
interdependence of states and the global community
has begun working towards collectively addressing
the many important issues facing the world today.
The world is truly a much safer place since the end
