wore a loincloth. A loincloth was a piece of fabric worn around their hips to cover their genital area (dictionary.com). They didn’t always wear a loincloth. In fact, for formal events, both men and women wore beautiful, white gowns. To show their unique body figure, the Egyptians wore their dresses tightly fitted. Males didn’t always wear dresses. In fact, they wore kilts. “Kilts were a rectangular piece of fabric wrapped around the waist and tied in the front with a cord or belted” (Brier, 121). Even though, Egyptians seemed to have had stylish techniques for wearing clothes, their hair and makeup completed the fashionable trend.
Finally, the Egyptians completed their fashion with their pretty hair and makeup. They had several hair styles. For example, the women wore their hair in a neatly cut bob.
