We, as humans, have made many advances in the world. We have firmly established the age of science in the past centuries, but in doing so, it seems that our ethics and morals have failed to advance as well. The knowledge Humans have is a great thing, but with it comes the responsibility to use it wisely and ethically. Many people have not been doing so. They torture and cruelly kill creatures that are arrogantly considered lesser beings simply at human disposal.
For something as insignificant as eye makeup, animals are tortured and blinded. Laboratory animals are usually kept in a pet farm. Once they arrive at the laboratory they are hardly fed, made to live in filth, and sometimes ...
