There is a time in everyone's life when one realizes that they are no longer a child, but an adult. Throughout ones high school career this usually occurs. An accomplishment or event may make one feel as if they are an adult and not a child anymore. During my time in high school, I went through this transition to adulthood. I began to balance my school work, social life and family responsibilities. Junior year was a time where I finally realized who my true friends were and which friends would stand by my side even after high school. Beginning my first job was a huge accomplishment in my life that made me realize I am now in adulthood and no longer a child.
Many other achievements throughout my junior year also made me realize my step into adulthood. My faith became so much stronger over the course of the entire year. I felt that God had helped me through a ton of those late nights staying up to finish school work and the long days filled with both school and work.
