In the article it states “Opponents of such attempts to diversify the student body, however argue that “more deserving white students are being denied educational opportunities and that those white students who are admitted realize no significant educational benefits from diversity.” There are several reasons why these white students may have been denied acceptance one may have been because of grades, finances, or affirmative action. Now with affirmative action it states certain people will be admitted because of color to meet national statics. While, white students may feel disregarded by affirmative action however it does not stop them from achieving higher education, there is a possibility they may have to attend a community college or apply at different universities.
