Feminist Literary Criticism of Nikki Giovanni's poems Women and Nikki-Rosa.

The works of Nikki Giovanni speak volumes about the collective mental capacity for keeping things in perspective. Not only does she use imagery that collects thoughts and possibilities she also does so with the strong voice of an African American woman. Her poetry is especially moving and poignant. Giovanni points out very basic realities of shortcomings but uses language that makes the ideas real and ironic, concurrently.
