Dear Senator:

Hi my name is (Insert Name) and I am a student at (Insert School Name). I am writing you to discuss the issue on high tuition costs and the increasing of student loan rates.

As a current college student in order to help pay for my tuition, like many of my schoolmates, I had to apply for student loans. By doing so I will graduate from college immediately into debt. The current level of cost that it takes to attend college is already high enough and by increasing the interest rate on student loans, it will only increase the amount of debt that ...

qualified for. The students that do return to school do this so they can earn higher paying jobs to help pay for their debts, but at the same time they are increasing their debt level in order to pay for their higher level degrees.
