There are many quotes, phrases, and expressions, in life that somehow impact each and every one of us. One expression that has truly made an impact in my life is, “honesty is the best policy.” I have always been the type of person to smooth-talk my way out of tough situations, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. I was over my boyfriend’s house I completely lost track of time. My phone was dead, and my boyfriend didn’t have a charger for my phone. My curfew was 11:30 PM on weekends and 10:30 PM on weekdays; by the time I saw the time it was 10:45 PM. I want crazy when I finally realized what time it was; there were a million thoughts going through my mind at once. Like my mom is going to kill me, my car keys are going to get taken away from me, and I’m never going to hear the end of this. With all the madness going through my head I had to take a breather; I thought about using my boyfriend’s phone to call my mom, but was too scared. To make things even worst, when I got to my car my gas tank was on E. I had no choice but to stop for gas.
