as Chrissie walked away. When she disappeared into the darkness, he opened the door and walked inside his house.
Damen suddenly woke up from the pounding on the door and someone screaming hysterically right outside their house. He jumped out of his bed and glanced at the clock: 6:12 AM. He dashed out of his room to see his parents trying to find their dressing gowns. Damen ran down the stairs and stood behind the door, hesitating whether to open it or wait for his parents. However, the voice sounded familiar. Slowly, he pulled the door and… two hands grabbed his shoulders and started shaking hard.
“Where is she? Where did you take her?” The woman was having a nervous breakdown. Damen began feeling dizzy. All he could see was a pink and green blur. He couldn’t think straight anymore. His instincts were telling him to shout. And so he did.

Chrissie felt like someone had thrown a ton of bricks on her head. She was awake, but wouldn’t open her eyes. She was waiting for her mother. When she came, she’d tell her about her headache.
The time was passing and her mom hadn’t shown yet. The house was quiet. Her bed was strangely rough and her bed sheet was gone. Maybe she’d slept on the couch.
