My Life

How many of you have seen the episode of family guy where cookie monster, a beloved children’s icon, is portrayed as an addict looking for a fix in a bathroom stall? Well, for those of you who haven’t seen it, Lois (one of the main characters) walks into a bathroom stall and there sits cookie monster with a tube of cookie dough. He has just put the dough onto a metal spoon and has put a lighter under it (supposedly to bake it). He starts getting impatient and tells the dough to hurry up, until he notices Lois’s presence and yells at her to go away. While most would view someone getting high off of cookies as an absurd situation, I have found that not everyone would agree.

way back to the pond where I spent the first half of lunch, I noticed that Mrs. Moyer, Mrs. Grega, and Mr. Weins were all standing on Detweiler Porch looking with expressions of bewilderment in my direction. I being as sharp and cunning as I was, quick checked to make sure my shoe lace were tied and my zipper was up. After I was sure that nothing of that sort was wrong, I began to walk a little slower, thinking I might be in trouble. I even thought of running away, but realized the futility of such actions almost immediately so I just kept walking. I would soon find out whatever was going through their minds because Mr. Weins was walking towards me.
I became very uneasy with what I thought was about to transpire. I was afraid I was going to get in trouble for doing something I didn’t know was wrong so I considered running away again.
