" The secrets of this earth are not for all men to see, but only for those who will seek them." is a great quote from Prometheus. It means all those who want to learn will learn, and those who don't want to learn won't.

Prometheus says this because he wants to know more than what he already knows. For example, he has found, when cutting open a dead frog, he saw the legs of the frog jerking. He saw that it was dead but still moving. Prometheus later found that a piece of copper wire was hanging had been hanging on the frog. His discovery of the copper wire power source was put in a glass box and then was about to be given to Scholars. He was going to give it to the Scholars because he wanted to share his discovery with everyone, he didn't want to keep it all for himself. He also wanted to do further research on his discovery of light. Prometheus also wanted to share his discovery because he thinks that by sharing his discovery he will be honored and be forgiven for the sin he did, discovering a new power source. By also doing this, Prometheus thinks he will be moved to the House of Scholars. This was the whole reason why he was going to share his discovery with the Scholars.
