I can not believe she does not want to marry Paris. Juliet has no right to disobey you. Her behavior is nothing but disgusting and repulsive. Who could be better for her, ...

is adamant on getting her own way is highly unacceptable and disrespectful. She has little or no say in who she marries. You did the right thing by choosing Paris for Juliet. As a Capulet and a lady of great honor, she has certain duties to fulfill and this is one of them, to marry a man chosen by her father. Every young lady belonging to an honorable household follows this tradition and Juliet should be no exception. Your love has spoiled her greatly. She has become too selfish and uncaring of society. She needs to change her attitude, become more proper, and behave like a girl of her status should behave. I say, lock her up in her room until she promises to behave better and consents to marry Paris and if she still does not follow through, let her die in the streets of Verona. There is no use of keeping daughter that refuses to follow rules and traditions. She will only bring you and your family shame.
