This story takes place in a small town outside of Orlando, FL. Delia and Skyes Jones lives in this town and have been married for fifteen years most of them have been unhappily. Delia is tired of Skyes playing pranks on her because he knows she is afraid of snakes. Skyes is a harsh talking womanizer who feels as if he is the man in charge, but it is Delia who is the bread winner in the family. Delia is a diligent hard working woman who just works, goes home, and goes to church on Sunday she does not socialize due to the shame of her husband's adultery.

Even through times she knew he had another woman she was still there working hard and supporting the both of them.
