Explain The Importance Of Contingency Planning
Contingency planning is planning for the future. It is a plan which prepares an organisation or agency for an emergency or out of the ordinary situation so that business activities can resume to normal as soon as possible. It allows an organisation the capacity to plan a response to events, which could disrupt its normal operations. Such disruptions may be minimal or may include instances where normal activities cannot be performed and may not be, for an extended period of time.
